What we need
A legible scan will do. Malaysian IC copies, JPN-issued certificates and school transcripts are everyday work for us. Documents carrying older Jawi script are no obstacle, so mention it when requesting a quote and we put a translator who reads Jawi on the file.

Malaysian birth, marriage and divorce certificates (Sijil Kelahiran, Sijil Perkahwinan, Sijil Perceraian), JPN extracts, SPM and STPM certificates, diplomas and university transcripts, police clearance letters, and SSM company documents. Notarisation and apostille
Being a law firm, we can hand a finished certified translation to our in-house notary public for notarisation and, for Apostille Convention destinations, forward it to the Singapore Academy of Law. It all stays in one office, with nothing to book elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you notarise the translation, not just certify it?
- Yes. Notaries public work in this firm, so a certified translation can be notarised straight away and, when the destination sits within the Apostille Convention, forwarded to the Singapore Academy of Law for the apostille. One office carries the whole thing, with no separate translator and notary to line up.
- My Malaysian IC is bilingual. Do you still need to translate it?
- Bilingual Malaysian ICs and JPN certificates already carry some English. Where the receiving authority still wants a certified English-only copy, we translate the Malay fields and reproduce the English ones word for word. Let us know what the authority has asked for and we will quote to suit.
- Can you handle older Jawi-script documents?
- Yes. Older Malay papers, particularly those from religious or court registries, occasionally carry Jawi. When we spot it at quote time we put a translator who reads Jawi on the job.
- Do ICA and MOM accept your Malay to English translations?
- They do. Malaysian documents translated and certified here are taken as a matter of course by ICA, MOM and other Singapore agencies. Where a filing also wants the translation notarised, we attend to that in the same office.
