Markus Kng

Markus is an associate at JCP Law. His primary areas of practice include civil litigation, criminal defence work and corporate advisory services. Markus has acted for clients in both the State Courts and the High Court in matters involving the supply and provision of goods and services, debt recovery, construction and bankruptcy, amongst others. He is also familiar with defence work for persons charged for the commission of blue-collar offences such as causing hurt, theft, road traffic offences, as well as white-collar offences such as cheating, forgery, and criminal breach of trust.

Markus is a dedicated and empathetic individual who is not beyond going the extra mile for his clients. He firmly believes that everyone is entitled to legal representation, regardless of their personal background or circumstances, and strives to be a firm advocate for them.

Prior to being called to the Singapore Bar, Markus was employed as a consultant for a leading digital consultancy in Singapore and was routinely tasked with the review and preparation of legal documents which include Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA).

Outside of work, Markus is an avid sportsperson. In his free time, he enjoys participating in team sports such as basketball and football, and going for long walks or hikes.
